Is a picture without a strong center of interest still attractive?
Generally, no, I believe, but there may be exceptions, such as this picture, where the variety of texture, color, and depth provide their own interest, pulling the eye to focus on spot after spot, interested in the details that make up this overwhelming accumulation of shapes.
Thoughts, comments, rebuttals?
